Pharmacological modulation using intracoronary (IC) thrombolytic therapy during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is also not an established choice although intravenous thrombolytic therapy is widely accepted and applied treatment of choice for acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
