C++ Components And Algorithms ; Comprehensive For Designing And Implementing Algorithms In C++

ABSTRACT The reviewed book fills the niche in the literature devoted to the C++ programming language. It is not simply a tutorial on algorithms or programming constructions. The main emphasis of the book is to describe “how to use the powerful features of C++ in creating program components and implementing algorithms”. The author describes a number of C++ classes supporting the most important and frequently occurred in programming practice algorithms. The detailed description includes complete class libraries for BTree indexed files (including insertion, deletion and searching), indexing files via hash tables, numeric supporting sorting and statistics, dynamic string handling, random number generation, error reporting, range-checking, persistent objects implementing sequential files, in-memory hash tables, dynamic binary trees. It is silently presumed that the reader is familiar with algorithms for considered problems. The book is useful to advanced programmers willing to improve their C++ programming technique.
