229-288 Paediatrica Indonesiana is the official journal of the Indonesian Paediatric Society (Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia - IDAI). Paediatrica Indonesiana is a long-established medical journal and the leading national pediatrics and perinatal medicine journal in Indonesia. This bimonthly journal, which was founded by the late Professor Soetedjo, printed its initial issue since 1961 and was a pioneer in English medical-periodicals in Indonesia. Professor Soedigdo Sastroasmoro joined the managerial board in 1987 and continued to lead the journal until 2011. He has overseen significant growth in the number of quality articles published and in the regularity of its publication.
